Culture describes the many ways in which human beings express themselves for the purposes of uniting with others, forming a group, defining an identity, and even for distinguishing themselves as unique.
Cultural expression is highly sensual in that human beings often create activities, practices, symbols, and so on that can be easily consumed by our senses. For example, culturally distinct forms of dance or physical movement attract our senses of touch and sight; whereas culturally specific foods seek to activate our sense of taste and smell.
Ancestral and modern culture stimulates a sense of identity for communities and residents. However, the lack of awareness and deep appreciation of this culture is evident in children nowadays.
Thus, this project is designed to generate awareness among the learners the appreciation of the ancestral and modern culture to establish cultural dynamism and excellence instilling good sense of self- pride, identity and nationalism.
This is made by the Sophomore students of Angeles City National Trade School under the guidance of Mrs. Ana Marie L. Enriquez for the fulfillment of our Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Project entitled E-story ko, Kultura ko.
